Entrepreneurship Mela was organised on 21st December, 2019 that saw the campus of Lala Lajpatrai College flooded with stalls of diverse delicacies and non-food products organized by the Dept. of Add on Vocational Courses & The Rotaract Club jointly with Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Lala Lajpatrai College in collaboration with University of Mumbai. More than 40 Stalls were put up by students of various courses of diverse colleges and Start-ups.

This year the theme of Entrepreneurship Mela #merisakhi focused on Women Entrepreneurship.

A footfall of 500 plus visitors was witnessed by the stalls. Colleges like Sheila Raheja College, Thakur College, Valia College and many more actively participated in the Entrepreneurship Mela.

Mrs. SonaliDhaneshwar, one of the owner of Samvit Sudha, inaugurated & set the Entrepreneurship Mela open.

With a vigour to work towards community service,  Women India Trust (WIT), Community Outreach Program (CORP), Samvitsudha, Fellowship of the Physically Handicapped (FPH), Kshitij, We Are Able Foundation, etc., were the NGOs who took the initiative and participated in it by exhibiting their stalls  as well as they were the philanthropy partners for this event.

This year more than 100 students participated in this mela.

The event was a phenomenal success which broadcasted the zeal of enthusiasm and motivation to budding entrepreneurs in this field of entrepreneurship which ultimately converted their Passion into Profession.
