 FREEDOM FEST 2018

Lala Lajpat Rai College of Commerce & Economics organised “Freedom Fest 2018” on the eve of 71st Independence Day on 13th and 14th of August, 2018. The inauguration took place by Principal Dr. Neelam Arora. She had observed all the activities along with the vice Principal Prof. S. H. Aure and supervisor Prof. S. Shardul Maam and also the staff members. She had shared the views related to freedom to the students. On the day of the event the Student Council Committee was formed.

OUTDOOR EVENTS

LALA LAJPATRAI JUNIOR COLLEGE, 14th AUGUST, 2018

On the special occasion of Independence Day certain outdoor events were carried out. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Harshad Ahirrao, superintendent of Arthur Road Jail as well as Principal Dr. Neelam Arora. The guest of honor was Asha Agarwal. The events started on patriotic theme performed by the students of S.Y.J.C.

F.Y.J.C Orientation Function

On the 14th an event of F.Y.J.C college orientation was organised by the junior college student council members. The event was started with the formal lighting of the lamp ceremony by dignitaries on the dais.

All the while there were 2 photographers in charge of capturing the entire event with the student volunteers and council members maintaining discipline in the auditorium. There was also a round of refreshments served to the parents.

After the ceremony, Prof. A. K. Rai from Hindi shared his teaching skills with the students and guardians in order to fetch a positive conviction towards education. Post that, the new student council was felicitated and introduced to the F.Y.J.C new comers.

Principal Dr. Neelam Arora gave a very inspirational and heart-warming speech about the college and its rich history. Continuing the event was Prof. Mariyam Sethwala and Prof. Roopali Shinde imparting some features and information about the college with the help of a very well informed powerpoint presentation.

At the end, the vice Principal Prof. S. H. Aure and supervisor Prof. Shardul respectively told us the rules and regulations of the college and the new marking scheme and a few other information.

Last but not the least was the Rotaract Club’s presentation and invitation about Lala Lajpat Rail College’s Club.

The function ended with singing of the national anthem.

Friendship Day Event

LALA LAJPATRAI JUNIOR COLLEGE, 2nd September, 2018.

The Friendship Day Event was organized by the Student Council Committee of Lala Lajpatrai Junior College on 2nd September, 2018. This event was organized in their respective classes. It was the first event with FYJC students.

The teacher’s day celebration was organized by the Student Council Committee of Lala Lajpatrai Junior College on 5th September, 2018. The event started at 1:00pm which was held in the respective classes of the students.

TIE AND SAREE DAY

The tie n saree day was organized by the Student Council Committee of Lala Lajpatrai College on 08th September, 2018. The event

started at 3pm which was held in the college classroom.

TRADITIONAL DAY

The traditional day was organized by the Student Council Committee of Lala Lajpatrai College on 18th September, 2018. The event started at 3pm which was held in the college classroom Room No 401 and 408.

ROSE DAY

LALA LAJPATRAI JUNIOR COLLEGE, 1ST OCTOBER, 2018.

The Rose Day was organized by the Student Council Committee of Lala Lajpatrai Junior College on 1st October, 2018.The was started at 1pm in their respective classes. Student Council read the letters written by the students to their special ones. Than from 3pm onwards we had our Rose Day Competition in which many couples participated. It was a successful event by the Student Council Commitee. 

Talento INDOOR Events

LALA LAJPATRAI JUNIOR COLLEGE, 6th OCTOBER, 2018.

The Talento Indoor events was organized by the Student Council Committee of Lala Lajpatrai Junior College on 6th October, 2018. The event was was started at 3pm in Room No. 401 and 402. Our honorable principal Dr. Neelam Arora inaugurated the event and gave the motivational speech to all the students. It was a successful event by the Student Council Committee.

Creative Advertisement

LALA LAJPATRAI JUNIOR COLLEGE, 9th OCTOBER, 2018.

The Creative Advertisement Event was organized by the Student Council Committee of Lala Lajpatrai Junior College on 9th October, 2018.  The event was started in Room No. 401. 7 groups have participated and enacted different brands like Kurkure, Fevicol, etc. It was a successful event by the Student Council Committee.

Talento Outdoor

LALA LAJPAT RAI JUNIOR COLLEGE,16th October,2018

The Talento Outdoor Event was organised by the students council committee of Lala Lajpat Rai college on 16th October,2018. The event was held in the college auditorium where Various students took part in performing arts activity such as dancing,singing,standup comedy and mono acting.

SHISHIR 2K18

LALA LAJPAT RAI JUNIOR COLLEGE, 10TH & 11TH DECEMBER

The students of Lala Lajpat Rai college under CHAIRPERSON Mr.Chetan Haran and Ms.Darshi dedhia took the initiative of the intercollegiate fest Shishir 2k18 .This 2 day fest had  its indoor events on the 10th December which included literal arts, fine arts and out of the box events and it’s outdoor event of performing arts on 11th December.

The best college for the year was Smt.MMK college, Bandra

And the first runner up college was R.D.National college,Bandra
